Chennai Express: The rivalry among the Khans is an old tale in
Bollywood. From the filmmakers to fans, everyone has an opinion to
share whenever the discussion about a particular Khan's supremacy pops
up. Salman Khan was dominating the box-office since two years, and Shah
Rukh Khan was waiting for a right opportunity to make his presence felt
in a grand way. His collaboration with director Rohit Shetty gave him
the chance to dominate the scenario. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh,
the film earned close to Rs 227 crore in India. It also became the first
film to break into the Rs 100 crore club in just 4 days.
Krrish 3: Though there are several views about this
Hrithik Roshan starrer film's performance, but it is undoubtedly one of
the top grossing ventures of 2013. Hrithik Roshan's toned body and
smartly edited action sequences fetched the film a fantastic opening. It
also crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within 4 days, and went on to
collect Rs 244 cr overall. However, some trade pundits believe that the
figures of film's earning are exaggerated.
